Provide a brief professional summary that includes your experience.

A 1965 graduate of Edgewood High School and attended Vincennes University until 1967.  Served four years in the United States Navy and two years in the US Navy Reserves. I retired from the Indiana State Police in 2010, after 38 years of service which included graduation from the FBI National Academy in 1992. I Served as Director of the Indiana State Police Bloomington Communications Center for the southwest portion of the state until 2014. In 2015, I was appointed as Ellettsville Town Marshal and continue to serve in that position.

Provide a brief personal summary (can include information about family, hobbies, etc).

My wife, Doretta, and I were married in 1967 and will celebrate our 52nd anniversary in June 2019. We have two sons, Todd (wife-Dawn) and Curt (wife-Lori), who have blessed us with 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild due to join the family in the summer of 2019.

Provide any additional information you would like to share with the community.

We are happy and proud to have raised our children in the community and to watch our grandchildren grow up in Ellettsville. We have so enjoyed our years here in Ellettsville, and no matter where were living, if someone asked where we were from, we would always say “Ellettsville”.  It will always be home to us.
