Town Announcement: Weather Update & Travel Advisory

Due to severe winter weather, the Town of Ellettsville is taking precautionary steps to support public safety and emergency coordination.

From 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026, travel within Town limits is recommended for essential management workers only.

All Town operations and emergency response activities will coordinate through the Monroe County Central Emergency Dispatch Center.

Town Council Meeting Update:
The Town Council meeting scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, has been rescheduled to Monday, February 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

All Ellettsville municipal offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. 

Residents are asked to limit travel where possible, follow official guidance, and use caution due to hazardous road conditions and possible power outages.
